While you await my exciting new music announcement, here’s a sample of the occasional rants I’ll be going on, on this page when something fires me up…

If you think teaching children about gay and trans people is wrong/evil/inappropriate – you’re either confused on what’s happening or (more likely) homophobic/transphobic to some degree. Children have been learning about heterosexuality from an extremely young age FOREVER in virtually all content made for them (ever seen a Disney movie?). Teaching them that some people have two dads or two moms, or some people transition genders isn’t “grooming” or “brainwashing” them. And if it is doing those things – it’s just coercing your children into showing people of all types respect and kindness. It’s certainly not convincing them to be Gay or Trans – there’s no evidence to support that. That’s not how it works. That is not the motive.

In reality, we convinced millions of gay and trans people (and others) over thousands of years that they had to act like cis gender straight people. Because that was the only acceptable option presented to them as children. That was the only way they ever felt they could make it in the world; have friends, a family, a job, a LIFE. I think the commercialization of LGBTQ+ pride has had some negative and annoying aspects, for sure. But it’s been overwhelmingly a more positive thing, than negative.

In conclusion. They’re not "teaching your kids about sex". They’re teaching your kids about people.
