Maybe the feeling coming off is frustration or anger. And you’re damn right, there’s some of that in there. And why wouldn’t there be.

But that’s not the heart behind it. I want us to be better, as a body. I want to *love* my body. I was meant to love my body and do spectacular things with it.

Regina Spektor has this great line, “I have a perfect body, and sometimes I forget. I have a perfect body because my eyelashes catch my sweat”

I remember when 9 people knew. And it felt like 10 would be the death of me. I’m here to keep your eyes clear. It’ll be uncomfortable, every once and a while. But I would hope you do the same for me.

In numerology, 13 is one of the most karmic numbers. Despite a lot of the negative attention the number has received, it's actually associated with luck. But most of all, 13 represents change.

The 13th day of the month has proven to be just that for me throughout my life - a reoccurring, if not subtle, theme in many of the most life-altering days of my life..

It was always just sitting there, looking innocent in its small box hanging on the wall, tucked between its peers. I don't want to give off the illusion that I put a ton of stock into numbers. I don't.

But I recognize patterns when I see them. And those do mean something to me.
